Minitap was designed to simplify the live tapping process. The small frame and efficient design allows for predictable operational results without the need for large excavations and costly additional connections. The main operational steps are as follows:
Install Tapping band/ sleeve and valve on live source conduit to supplier’s specifications.
Attach Valve Coupling on valve.
Attach Minitap and complete pressure test.
Complete live tapping of conduit with Minitap.
Complete the live tapping process by removing Minitap after closing the valve.
